Birthdays & Engagement

Well, here it is, a month since I last “blogged”, after having promised to do it sooner. My apologies to whoever might be interested! First of all, on the 19th of July I flew to Cleveland (courtesy of my son, Scotty) to celebrate my older sister turning 75 and my granddaughter turning 21. As it turned out, we had another celebration as Morgan and Joey got engaged. Hopefully, see attached photos. One of the “three sisters” and one of the engaged couple – I will let you guess which is which!

All occasions were great! Shannon and Scotty went away for two nights and came home to find all of the children still alive!! Actually, they were quite good – as I am certain they were afraid I would have a heart attack because I am so “old”! It is really too bad Cleveland has such horrible weather nine months out of the year. Otherwise, it is a nice place to live.. Now I am back in Florida, though, still cashiering at Publix. Publix is a pleasant place to work, it is just that cashiering is not exactly rocket science, so if you don’t have a constant barrage of customers it is really, really, REALLY boring! Until I either find another job, or win a lottery, I will continue showing up for work and do my best to entertain and serve the customers. Now that I have finally figured out how to insert photos (with the help of Shannon) I will show you others. Life is good and Gina and I are enjoying our digs. Hope all of you are happy, too. Ricci
